【國旗下演講】保護(hù)環(huán)境 愛我家園

    誰不希望頭頂天空湛藍(lán)如鏡，誰不希望腳下大地綠草如茵，誰不希望身邊湖水清澈透明，誰不希望眼前陽光燦爛如金……但是，不知從何時開始，昔日的藍(lán)天已不再湛藍(lán)，而是一片壓抑的灰；不知從何時開始，身邊的小溪已不再清澈，變得渾濁刺鼻。
    地球母親給了我們碧綠的河水，蔥翠的山林，新鮮的空氣，燦爛的陽光，肥沃的土地，而我們卻不懂得珍惜。人類在一味索取的同時，已然忘卻，這一切的一切并非是無盡的，于是短短的幾十年間，人類已生存了幾百萬年的美麗星球正在以越來越快的速度被我們自己蠶食——土地淪為沙漠，林地化為土坡，冰川在融化，海面在上升。無怪乎有科學(xué)家預(yù)言，整個人類群體終將被上升的海水隱沒。
    聽：鳥兒在怒號，企鵝在痛哭，冰川在吶喊，地球母親無助地向人類哭訴：“如果你們不懂得及時挽回，那最終毀滅的將是人類自己！”這一科，人類終于懂得放慢腳步適時反思，當(dāng)下，全人類都已接到大自然的警示信號，也終于有越來越多的人開始著力于守護(hù)自己家園的行動，努力將它變回內(nèi)心懷戀的樣子。
    看！那些已走在拯救的路上的身影：植樹四萬多棵的馬永順爺爺，以畫養(yǎng)海的投礁老人王惠遠(yuǎn)，長江源頭的守護(hù)神——綠色江河組織……他們都在默默為我們的家園做著貢獻(xiàn)，同學(xué)們，我們是不是也該開始行動？
    也許有人會說，做為年紀(jì)尚小的初中生，我們又能做什么呢？殊不知環(huán)保人人皆可為。學(xué)習(xí)中用具可以盡量節(jié)省，用餐時避免一次性餐具，愛護(hù)我們身邊的一草一木……
    我們還可以提醒我們的父母，不隨意捕食野生動物，盡可能用節(jié)能燈，綠色出行減少碳排放等等。
    在此，也順便提醒大家，在四月下旬，我校地理社還會舉行“保護(hù)地球母親”的活動，大家也可以借助參與這次活動，為保護(hù)環(huán)境實實在在地獻(xiàn)一份力量！
    同學(xué)們：一次次的自然災(zāi)難，已是對我們最后的警告，對我們每一個人而言，行動起來，責(zé)無旁貸！我們個人的力量也許很小很小，但當(dāng)全世界都齊心協(xié)力地做這同一件事的時候，我相信，我們從某一天開始定能，抬望眼，白云朵朵，天空明凈；回眸處，陽光明媚，柳綠花紅！

Dear teachers and students,
    Good morning!
    Today our topic is “protect the environment and love our homeland”.
    Who doesn’t want the sky to be blue like a mirror? Who doesn’t want the grass to be green like a carpet? Who doesn’t want the water to be pure like crystal? Who doesn’t want the sunshine to be shiny like gold……However the blue sky is turning grey and the stream nearby is turning dirty while we don’t notice it.
    Our mother earth offers us beautiful forests, fresh air, shiny sunshine and the rich ground, but we just don’t value them. We human beings are using these things without realizing that they are limited. So in the past few years, our earth has been seriously damaged by ourselves—the ground becomes deserts, the forest becomes a world of sand, the glacier disappears because of the rising sea level. It is no wonder that scientists predict that the earth will be covered by sea one day.
    Please listen to the crying of birds, the teardrops of the penguins and the shouting of glaciers. The earth is complaining to us tearfully: “Stop or destroy, it’s time to make the choice!” At this moment, we finally received the alarm from the nature and reflect our behavior. As a result, more and more people have devoted themselves to the career of conservation and rebuild our missing home.
    Look! Someone has already been on the way to save our planet. Ma Yong Shun, by whom nearly forty thousand trees were planted; Wang Hui Yuan, by whom pictures were drawn and sold to protect the shore; Green River Organization, by whom the origin of Yangtse River were kept clean. These are all the very ones who contributes to our home. Dear students, isn’t it time for us to take actions from now as well?
    Maybe someone will say, as young students, what can we do? As we know, everyone can make some differences, such as using less stationery while you are studying, use less disposable dishware while you are eating and protect plants while you are playing……
    We can also remind our parents not to kill wild animals optionally and use efficient lightbulbs, or do environment-friendly travels to reduce the content of carbon dioxide.
    By the way, the geography club in our school will hold an activity called “protect mother earth” late this April. We can make a real difference to protect the environment through this activity!
    Dear students, time and time again natural disasters have been the last alarm to us. For every one of us, it’s our duty to take actions now. One finger may not lift a stone, but when the whole world does the same thing, I believe, we can surely see white clouds and a clear sky when we look up, green willows, red flowers and beautiful sunshine when we look back!
